Entrevista a José Gameiro

Resumo: Este ensaio teve como objetivo entrevistar o diretor científico do museu de Portimão, de modo perceber a missão e a envolvência que o museu tem com a região, bem como as estratégias que tem aplicado de modo a fazer a ponte entre a cultura e a comunidade local. Tratou-se de uma conversa informal onde José Gameiro nos contou, de forma breve, a história do museu, o seu trajeto ao longo dos onze anos que decorreram desde a sua inauguração pública, bem como o posicionamento que o mesmo ocupa hoje, quer ao nível da cultura, quer ao nível da região do Algarve.

Abstract: This essay was made with the objective to interview the scientific director of the Portimão museum, in order to perceive the mission and the involvement that the museum has with the region, as well as the strategies that have been taken in order to build bridges between culture and the local community. It was an informal conversation, where José Gameiro told us a briefly history of the museum, its journey over the eleven years since its inauguration, and the position that the museum occupies today, in both culture and Algarve region.
