Abstract

Club Farense, a century-old cultural association (founded in 1863) has, since its inception, been a prominent feature in farense society, organizing some important cultural activities. It is in its current headquarters, in the Solar dos Pantojas (17th century) classified building, located in the center of the city center of Faro, that in recent years the Club has intensified its cultural action, with a regular activity of diversified events. In this interview with Augusto Miranda, president of the direction, we tried to get to know a little more about the cultural action developed, the context in which it develops and its concerns among audiences, artists and programmers.
