Introductory Note

Abstract

This thematic issue dedicated to Basic Education, of international nature, comes at a time when many changes are occurring in schools, as a result of new legislation and guidelines from the Ministry of Education.

Thus, it is considered pertinent to present research articles, literature reviews and to include an interview conducted with the head of a school cluster, located in the Algarve region, south of Portugal.

The selected articles are related to the research done on behalf of children/students, in the context of initial training of educators and teachers, education professionals, as well as an interview, which will allow the reader to enrich their knowledge about this reality, in national and international terms.
