Abstract

This study identifies 16 Iron Man armors in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 24 scenes are analyzed in which Tony Stark puts on different Mark suits to become Iron Man. In total, 91 shots shot in various cinematographic frames are examined. The findings reveal a constant progression in the versatility, functionality, quality, technology and complexity of the armor and its transformations, reflecting the increase in artistic and technical capabilities in the animation industry. Both the character of Tony Stark and his alter ego, Iron Man, present complex personalities in constant transformation, evident throughout the film saga. Paradigm of resilience and improvement of the animated industry in the seventh art.
