My interest in the performative side of the arts comes, at least, since the rehearsals with the pop band I was part of as a bass player. Concepts such as beat, groove, beat, riff, melody, vocal harmonies, have always found correspondents (framing, thickness, texture, gradient, color, pattern, veiling) in my drawings. It is not by chance that we speak of a "bass line". Within the universe of comics, for example, I considered the line as the rhythmic section and the color as the melody that flew above the structure. I was fascinated above all by the possibility that musicians have to meet and "make music", even without exchanging prior impressions. Starting from a sound phrase that someone produces, anyone can add their own phrase, bringing their perspective to the music, building a sound place that belongs to everyone and that simultaneously belongs to no one.
